Summary

• The files you choose in a tool are processed by your browser on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
• You cannot create an account, and the site does not ask for your name or email address.

Files you process

When you choose or drop a file, your browser reads it and the program code of the page processes it on your device. The code of this site does not send the file, its name or its content to our servers or to anyone else. We therefore never receive your files and cannot see, store or restore them.

Results exist in the memory of your browser until you download them or leave the page. They are not written to the storage of the browser by the site. When you close or reload the page, the selected files and the results are gone from it; the originals on your device are not changed.

Program code that a tool needs, including the libraries for PDF files and their image decoders, is loaded from this site after you have chosen a file. These requests fetch code and carry no file content.

Data stored in your browser

The site uses the local storage of your browser for one entry: whether you chose the light, dark or system appearance. The entry is named web-theme and is written only when you change the appearance.

The tools do not store your files, file names, options or results in local storage, in cookies or in any other storage of the browser.

The entry stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Hosting and request data

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical data that is needed to deliver the page and to protect the service, such as your IP address, the requested address, the time of the request and information about your browser.

We do not keep our own database of visitors.

Advertising

The site may show advertisements that are provided by third parties such as Google. If advertising is not enabled for the site, the pages contain no advertising code and make no requests to advertising providers.

Advertising code is loaded only when advertising is enabled and, where a consent choice applies to you, after you have allowed it. If you refuse or withdraw your choice, the site stops loading advertisements.

When advertisements are shown, the page loads scripts from the advertising provider. The provider receives technical data such as your IP address and the address of the page, and may use cookies or similar storage according to its own policy. We ask the provider not to personalize advertisements.

Scripts of an advertising provider run in the same page as the tools. The site does not hand your files to them. We cannot rule out by technical means everything that a third-party script does in a page, which is why this policy describes only what the code of this site does.
